The Witcher 3 Sex and Romance Guide

The Witcher 3 Sex and Romance Guide

Witcher III: Wild Hunt has seen a new spike in popularity thanks to the Netflix series and the Witcher III Switch port. With new fans comes new questions, like who you can romance and when over the course of Geralt’s adventures.

There are a lot of cool things to do in Witcher III: Wild Hunt, including romantic pursuits. Your two main choices for a long-term partner are Triss and Yennefer, both of whom have a special character ending (as well as special DLC outfits). Every other romance in Witcher III is doomed to remain a short-term arrangement at best. (And sadly, you cannot yet court Dandelion.)

Notably, you can pursue every other available woman in the game without it having an impact on your relationship with either Triss or Yennefer. It’s only if you try to romance both of them at the same time that you’re going to end up having problems.

Triss

Complete the story quest Count Reuven’s Treasure. Triss subsequently asks you to meet her in Novigrad, where she offers you the side quest A Matter of Life and Death.

If you take Triss up on that quest, you’ll get the option to romance Triss during your subsequent visit to the gala. While that kiss gets interrupted, it sets the stage for a later tryst after you complete the side quest Now or Never.

If you’re ride or die for Triss and want Geralt to outright confess his love for her, tell Sigismund to “Stay out of other people’s affairs.” When Triss is about to board the ship to Kovir, tell her “Stay with me” and

“I love you,” and agree to listen to Sigismund’s story. Triss will return while he’s telling it, and you’ll get a scene between her and Geralt.

If you want to keep your options open, tell Triss “Stay with me” and “Let’s try again” while she’s boarding the ship. Triss will stick around, and if you avoid romancing Yennefer later on, you’ll be set for Triss’s ending.

If you don’t try to stop Triss from leaving for Kovir, it marks the permanent end of her romantic path. While it doesn’t mean she’s out of the game–she’ll show up later at the Chameleon, after the Battle of Kaer Morhen–Triss is no longer any kind of romantic option https://hookupdate.net/escort-index/torrance/.

Yennefer

This is the marginally easier of the two main romance paths in Witcher III, as the two major decisions that influence it are set during quests in the main storyline. As such, they can’t be missed.

During The King is Dead – Long Live the King, choose the black and white outfit for Geralt. Later, after the fight in the laboratory, choose to kiss Yennefer once the room starts filling up with gas. She’ll teleport you both to safety in her bedroom. Tell her that you’d like to watch her change, you old smoothie, and you’ll receive the first of two love scenes with Yennefer.

You can then make one last choice with Yennefer during the side quest The Last Wish, where you can choose between telling Yennefer you love her, or breaking up with her. If you’ve avoided romancing Triss up to this point, or you did but settled for telling her “Let’s try again” after Now or Never, you’ll lock in Yennefer’s romantic ending. It comes complete with a cameo appearance by the real star of Witcher III, Geralt In A Bathtub.
